NTT - Dripping With The Power Of Her Flesh

An oldie but goodie, which only recently was sent to me. Therefore a review from this album of Navicon Torture Technologies, which was at that point already a re-release from a limited edition CD-r (50 copies). While writing, I wondered if this timespan between creation and review affected the impact of the release and the value of this review? And to answer it at the same time while i'm listening to the tracks I must say: No, definitly not.

For those of you who don't know NTT, the music he makes is straight forward American style power electronics with symphonic influences. But within this perspective NTT manages to experiment a lot with noises, structures, samples and vocals so that in the end the tracks are without doubt related to eachother, but still quite diverse in nature.

Within the perspective of his style, this CD is no different then other NTT releases and every fan should buy a copy. If on the other hand you are curious about US power electronics and one of its figureheads, this CD is - because of the various styles touched including a remix of the Welsh rising star Detritus - a very goint point to start. Maybe better then for example 'Church of Dead Girls' on Malignant records, because that release is in my opinion less accessible (not worse or better, just different).
