Servants of the Apocalyptic Goat Rave - Servants of the Apocalyptic Goat Rave

Sublight Records

Do you know what happens if you force feed amphetamines to Lucio Fulci or George Romero? Can you even imagine what will happen if Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez would finally start to use some blood in their movies?

Whatever the outcome would be, the soundtrack for any of the above mentioned wishful (wet) dreams would have to be created by the 'Servants of the Apocalyptic Goat Rave'. This collaborative effort from Bong-Ra and Sickboy - with support by Duran times three - is fucking hilarious.

The titles are just too brilliant. How about 'Tomb Of The Black Light Serpent Goddess', 'Rave Bird With Sirens In White Gloves' or the absolute highlight in verbal masturbation: 'Glowstyx For The Dead Children'?

Musicwise this is what you can expect when you put Bong and Boy in a shaker and press the mix button (PS: imagine the picture when the ice-crushing knives open the flesh and the bloodred margherita is served with a joyish yellow or green umbrella and a lime-twist). Complete over-the-top breakcore with influences from oldschool metal and weird sampling madness and sound effects.

Sublight even gave up their usual CD coding, because this is SLR666. Bloody brilliant! What more can one say?
