Drone Records
Two pieces of "Recycled Magick Drone"s on transparent reddish vinyl. Hati is a new name for me though they already have eight titles on their name, recorded over the last 4 years. Amongst these titles is a collaboration with the multi-talented percussionist Z'ev and in that genre we should position Hati.
Metal percussion, albeit utlra minimal and ambient, resulting in organic soundscapes. The first track is made with cymbals, stones and a table with the additionele sounds of plastic tubes and poppy heads. The result even could have been released on the legendary Twilight Earth series. The second track is more dronish. Maybe because the instrument was a bit larger and massive (steel barrels) but the result is as impressive as side A.
The cover is kept minimal but it does the trick perfectly. The backside depicts a wolf howling at the moon; Ritual Magick drones for those special nights ...
