Wow, this is some strong stuff!

Slowly building drones and extreme manipulations of frequencies of which no-one except the maker knows where they're from. Murmur, the alias of Patrick McGinley, creates two pieces of music which are beyond any expectation considering he uses sounds from around the house and garden. Transparent vinyl with sounds not quite as transparent as the vinyl, resulting in a object d'art in many layers.

The cover was assembled by hand and contains pieces of a scarf, scraps of a notebook and hair of McGinley. The fact that Murmur has two releases out on the highly experimental lable Ground Fault Recordings somehow doesn't surprise me. Definitly an artist to check out for the experimentalists amongst you.
