Drone Records
Most of the time, Drone records from Germany - run by the master of drones Stefan Knappe of Troum - invests in lesser known names, or artists that haven't had many releases so far. So it was a big surprise to see the name Moljebka Pvlse in this list of releases.
The minimal design of the black-on-black cover fits the black vinyl very well. And what is most important, it is also in sync with the dark soundscapes that can be found on there.
Organic sounds form the basics of the two tracks called 'Lode' and 'Lvx'. The compositions with drones and additional good sounding but heavily manipulated bell, metal, gong sounds create a harmonic and mysterious whole.
The only "disadvantage" could be that both tracks are only jus over 5 minutes, which makes it quite a short release. But thankfully there is no law that forbids standing up and play it again ... And again ... And ...
