Drone Records DR-75
Gorgeous layers of rich dark ambient by this Ukrainian producer-duo, of which at least one is linked to the Ukrainian Dark Syndicate. The two tracks form a whole, called 'Mare Internum' (I think it means 'the inner sea', but its been a while since I had Latin at school).
The 'lonesome' and 'silent' queen might be two ships sailing this inner sea and the tracks were very properly named. 'Regina Solitaria' has a very lonely atmosphere, while 'Regina Silentia' sounds much colder because of less definition and fluctuation in its sound.
This 7" is definitly worth checking out for fans of the Italian Eibon label.
Finally, the white marbled vinyl is amongst the best I've ever seen. Even on Drone Records.
